This is a simple rhythm loop i created with audacity. I used both noise generator and the built-in risset drum plug-in.

A bunch of strange sounds recorded while messing around with the make noise morphagene. Roughly 79bpm. Have fun :).

Low and reverbered warrior kick:taken from an existing from freesound ( don't remember the name!)i just add exciter eq and generous reverb with logic pro.

Sampled from custom-made 13. 5 inch hihat cymbals created by master cymbal smith mike skiba. The top cymbal weighs in at 1145 grams with the bottom weighing 1215 grams. This is a stick tap on the bow of the closed cymbals using the tip of the stick.

A low bassy throb created using audacity. I initially used the 'risset drum' creator. Then randomly altered pitch and speed, increased the bass, then copied and pasted repeats.

You could hear this rhythm in a place with several clocks; actually i got this 'clock rhythm' idea after hearing a cool beat made by three clocks. Sounds used found in the "clock tick rhythms pack.

Snare sample one-shot. These snares were all made with virtual drum synths and processed through some analogue console emulation and added saturation. They were then trimmed to get rid of any dead space before or after the sample and finally normalized to 0db. This file is part of my anu snares pack.

I made this bass drum using one of the glass hit samples i found on this website. Sounds nice on big sound systems, may destroy smaller ones.

Processed kick with good transientmade with ableton and been tested with monitors, its been eq'd and a compressed. This sound it at -0. 1db instead of 0. 0 so it's definitely not clipping. The sub of the kick is made in ni massive and then processed with all most every plugin i have. I took surprisingly long to make because it was originally meant to be secret for one of my own tracks but i never really used it so it has a lot of hidden detail that is just waiting to be downloaded lol.

This recording is designed for a mid-range frequency instrument, like a guitar, over the loop. The basic sound of a clothes dryer tumbling, with loud clicking from the clothes inside -- buttons and zippers against the drum, along with the deep rumbling of the motor and the thump of the tumbler. Recorded on a sony pcm-m10 recorder with a very old electret condenser microphone.

Recorded on a pearl drumset. Only one of the tams, the bassdrum and the hi-hat is played. Recorded in a practising room located at the the former base for the american military in iceland. Recorded through a yamaha preamp. Sound altered slghty in cubase, adding reverb as well as compression to the file. Enjoy !.

This is a rather simple one, compared with 002, the sounds are more subtle and less punchy. The bass drum is much significant compared to 001.

Kicking various parts of an old door made of wood and metal. The door is part of the ruins of a century-old iron foundry. The recording included background noise from a nearby stream.

Standard 808 kit with individual compression. Lfo effects applied to the claps so the echoes move around the eq frequencies. Loops perfectly at 130bpm, hope you enjoy.

The toubeleki, is a kind of a greek traditional drum musical instrument. It is made from metal, open at its downside and covered with a skin stretched over it. It is played with the hands and used often in the greek traditional folk rhythms.

Layered out of an sks, ak47, uzi and a snare drum with a metallic texture. A short decayed 808 kick drum is occupying the sub frequencies. A bolt mechanic layer added before and after the shot transient. Two echo/reverbs were added for the stereo width. Shell eject layer added. All layers grouped together and lightly compressed and saturated. Made in ableton live. Enjoy.

Free to use without any credits!. It should sound professional enough. It took a little while of analyzing what the snares had in those tracks, and i managed to pull this off after a while. I hope you appreciate my small effort for this day :). Have fun with it.

I recorded these samples after recording a loop of the famous think beat. I used mapex big rock kick and toms and a mapex daisycutter snare along with zultan 15" raw hihat and a zultan 20" dark matter crash.

An explosion i created on audacity using the risset drum generator, feel free to use it for whatever you want.

A light drum sound made in the noise channel of famitracker continually repeated to make a dialog scroll sound.

Half time: notice the snare moves to beats 3 of measure one and two (beats 3 & 7) while the hi-hat plays only on the quarter notes. Note also, for example, that the quarter notes 'sound like' eighth notes in one giant measure.

Got around to putting a swish noise on my punchy_evolution 2 snare and the result was alright, then i compressed it a little bit and put a little bitcrushing on it to maximize the volume.

Drum: pearl sensitone steel 14" x 5. 5". Head: genera dry. Mic configuration: mono room, two overheads [spaced pair], batter head, reso head. I did basic eq cuts and boosts with some compression. No limiting used. Each articulation was carefully played and gain adjusted to seem as natural as possible. My goal was to also create a multi sampled snare drum that could be drag and dropped into a sampler with ease. Articulations: x-soft, soft, medium, hard, and crack. ***i will post a link to the complete multisample pack for all to download soon.

I used some compression and a bit of eq to make it sound like something you'll hear on a gaming console machine. However, the audio spikes from the high freq took me a while to cut off. Can't figure out why it does that but in my opinion it still sounds good :).

Piano lid gently taps as it is opened and rests against the upper front board. Organic reverberations can also faintly be heard from the detuned strings. Possibly could be used for something interesting, it has a wooden bass drum sound. 100+ year old upright piano, microphone placed directly inside. (sample 1 of 4).

This is the first project i created for my digital media class at uf looping random sounds. It doesn't exactly keep in beat, but it sounds pretty cool. :).
